Anyway, while at the NorCal EOS meet this past weekend, I got to see first had some GS's on 18's, and the looked very nice in person...not too small. Maybe it depends on how the rest of the car is done up.

I think Hameed is on 18's still, and his car looks amazing!
well if you dont want to go 20s then go 18s. The price from 19s to 20s is only a couple hundred dollars...so it really isnt worth it in my book. I got 20s and i use my car as a daily driver and im dropped and i have no problem and i live in nyc.

I figured I would go with 19's so the ride is not as harsh as the 20's could be. I also figured with a bit more cush between the road and rim, possible bending of the rim will be reduced with 19's. I like the way the 20's fill the wheel well but I think fitment of the 19's will be a bit easier. Again, this is all based on the research I have gathered from the site. Others may have different, real life experience/opinion's on this.
like i said before, unless you get fat tire setup for the 19s, otherwise the ride between 19s and 20s are THE SAME. it's the same profile so you don't get more cushion with the 19s...

I was very happy with my 18" volks [ultra light & ultra strong]. But from certain angles they definitely looked small. The HRE's look a lot better but weigh 10/15 lbs more per corner [with tire].

I'm old, have 20s, lowered on coilovers and this is my daily driver ( 60 miles total ). I would not hesitate to do it again. 20s for me

I have 19's and I get compliments on my ride comfort all of the time. I think 18's look just a bit small with our slightly overweight GS.

I have 18's and I think they look real good, at least that is what I'm told and think. I must say that I wish I would have gone with 19's. I will go with 19's eventually. I think 20's are the limit anything over that is sickening.

Wow.. I was wondering if 18s were going to be too much for the GS... Well, I guess now I know 18s are going to be fine. I won't do anything bigger then 18s, so they get my vote.

for the dimensions of the car, 19"s look best. I think 20"s look too SUV sized. Unfortunately, many rims that I really like don't come in 19"s... so 18" for me. I guess I'll just take the ride quality and performance over looks

18s can look good depending on the rim design and how big a lip. A big rear lip will make any rim look smaller.

I've gone from 17s, to 18s, to 19s.

I really like my 19s and am glad I didn't go to 20s because I don't want that much bling or less tirewall (I run the fat 19 setup).

And one of the best examples of a GS with the 19" fat setup I might add.

I can vouch for that So glad I opted for the 19 fatty rather than the 18's I was talked out of..
