I recently purchased new 16x6 platinum series rims for my 94 ES300. I need to purchase all season tires for them. Should I go with a 205/60 - 16 sized tire ? I'm not interested in performance tires. However, I'm wondering if I should consider Grand Touring tires. The most important thing to me is a smooth quiet ride. Can I get this with a Grand Touring tire along with better handling ? Finally, are there any brands I should steer clear from ?
Many thanks.
Many thanks.

Bluesman,
205-60/16 is the OEM size tire for the Platinum wheels (comes stock with the 2000-2001 ES300 Platinum/Coach Edition). I would stick with that tire size for your wheels as that is what it's designed for.
Here are my choices for all-season tires: Toyo Proxes TPT (rode those on my '96 and '01 ES, highly recommended), Bridgestone Turanza LS-H (what I currently have, and so far so good
), Goodyear Assurance (have heard excellent reviews from them, can't go wrong with the 80K treadwear warranty) ![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Hope this helps!
