Yea, they're pretty expensive. The JP car is about as much lip as you can fit. I think the deepest width you can squeeze into a GS is 20x11" in the rear with a 25 series tire.

Would 20x8.5 (+38mm) and 20x10.5 (45mm) wheels fit on a 2nd Gen GS, or a new (03-06) LS?

On a 2GS, the offsets for the front should be fine but the rear will need some slight fender modding.
