Does anyone know what type of brake pad material was used in the factory brake pads on a second GS400 or GS430? The dealer doesn't know and some aftermarket companies say semi-metallic and others say ceramic. One has even said organic.

I want to use aftermarkets as they come with shims and retain the OE material. This is because the original owner put aftermaket pads on the car and threw away the OE shims. Lexus wants more for the shims than the pads and trust me, the pads aren't cheap.
