Tires for 92 ES300
Hey all,
I'm looking for some new tires for my dad's ES300, its a 1992 model. It has Michelin Energy MXV4's on it, and the front 2 are bald, while the rears still have some traction. I was thinkin about putting on a set of Bridgestone Turanza LS tires instead of just replacing the fronts with Energy's again.... from what i've searched on here and tirerack, the Bridgestone's seem to be very quiet and comfortable. For this car, sporty driving isn't a priority, we want something thats quiety, comfortable, and has decent to well snow traction (relative to other all-season tires).
What do you all think about the Bridgestone Turanza LS? Any other tires you would recommend? Also, which speed rating do I need? Thanks in advance for the help.

I have a set of Bridgestone Turanza LS (V-rated) on my '01 ES for about 5 months now. These tires, like you said, are indeed very quiet, comfortable, and perform well under rainy/wet conditions. Perfect match for a luxury, cruising vehicle like the ES300, and well worth the price. May I ask where you are getting the tires from? I was originally going to order my Bridgestones from Tire Rack, but I got a local shop to match their pricing, and include services like mounting and balancing at no extra charge. I also avoid shipping charges as well
