Default Would these wheels/tires fit my 1997 SC300?

I'm new to the forum (yea, it's my first post ), and had a question about a particular wheel/tire combo on my 1997 Lexus SC300.

The car currently has the OEM 16x6.5" wheels on it. I plan on installing a set of rims from a 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4.

Wheels: 18X8.5" offset is 46mm.
Tires: 245-40zr18

I'm not exactly sure what the offset of the OEM wheels are on a SC300, but I do realize the OEM VR-4 wheels are 2" wider. Will I run into any fitment issues? Any rubbing on the fenders and/or struts? Will the wheels stick out at all? Any thoughts and comments would be appreciated. By the way, the car will soon be lowered with Eibach springs (I believe it's about a 1" drop all around).

By the way, here are a few pics of my previous car (95 Mitsu 3000GT VR-4) with the stock rims/tires that I plan on installing on my SC300. How will these wheels sit on the SC300? With Eibach springs, how will the wheel gap compare to those in the pics below? Let me know what you guys think, thanks!

what exactly do you mean by "sunken in"? I know a lot about performance mods, but not really too much about wheels, tires, and the whole offset thing.

What's the stock offset on an OEM SC300 16x6.5" wheel anyway?

I'm just wondering if the VR4 wheels will fill the wheel well better than the OEM rims, how much they'll stick out (or how much further than stock they'll stick out... it seems like the stock rims aren't as far out as I'd like them to be). Do you guys think it'll probably sit like how it did on my VR4?

Also, whats the widest reccomended spacer to run in the front/rear if the wheels arent as far our as I'd like them to be? Thanks in advance,

stock sc wheels are +50 offset afaik.
so 29mm closer to the fenders and 21mm closer to the suspension than stockers.

Yea, the VR4 rims fit without any problems. I'm running 255-40zr18 right now (all around) with no rubbing or fitment issues... but the rear two tires are pretty worn. I plan on replacing the rear tires only.

The car is lowered on Eibach springs right now, I was wondering:

275-35zr18

will these tires rub in the rear? I'll be on 18x8.5" wheels (+46 offset)

Let me know what you guys think, cuz my rear tires are reallly worn right now. I need a new pair, and some beefy 275's in the rear would look pretty badass in my opinion
