Default Steeliest or cheapest rims possible

Where can I find a set of steelies (smallest possible diameter) or what would be the cheapest rims that will fit 01 gs430. I'v seen some 15" steeliest for ES250, will they fit the GS? I need to get a set of wheels/snow tires.

you can get oem 98-00 16s for super cheap in wheel classifieds. I doubt 15s would fit. the stock 16s are pretty darn close to calipers already.

You can get new 16" alloys at Tirerack for $80 each.

Sounds like you're looking for a winter tire setup. In the past week I bought stock 16s off ebay for $230 USD, $275 Canadian. I was lucky to be able to do a pickup, the seller was only an hour away. I noticed Tire Rack has a winter tire + rim package catered for our 2nd gen GSes. It'll run you $676 for Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50s on 16" alloys. They look nice, kind of similar to the stock 17" alloys. Pic attached.

I can't comment on the WS-50s, I opted for the Pirelli 240 SnowSport myself.

If the RX300 wheels will clear on a GS, Tire Rack also offers a winter wheel for $28 each.I think they were 16x7.
