Offset question for SC430 with 20" Maya DTS
I have a chance to get great price on20" Maya DTS. Would this fit my SC430 w/o rubbing if my car is lowered about an 1 1/4 inch.
20 x 9 with +24 offset
20 x 10 with +26 offset.
Also, what tires size would you recomend both for the front and the rear.
Thanks

I wouldn't stagger the front/rear diameters that much- you might confuse the ABS and/or traction control.
I would recommend:
* 245/35-20 with 275/30-20
* 245/35-20 with 285/30-20
* 255/35-20 with 285/30-20
* 245/30-20 with 285/25-20
* 255/30-20 with 295/25-20
Those offsets will be sweet on the SC. If you stay with a 285 or narrower rear tire, I don't forsee any clearance issues at all.

I use to have 255-35-19 which was 26.1 inches and 275-35-19 which was 26.7 in the rear and I had NO issues with ABS or TCS.
My main concern is rubbing if I lower my car about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inches.
Thanks
Also, I can't seem to fine tires that are 25 series. Where can you find them?

I think 'shorter' (lower profile) front tires (when compared with a taller rear tire) look a little strange on the SC though- always looks like the front tires are flat and the rear tires aren't. Having shorter front tires won't 'fix' any clearance issues on the SC, the car has tons of room and a 1.5" drop isn't that low.
I don't think you'll find a 25 series front tire. There aren't any that I know of, unless you go with something like 285/25-20 front & 305/25-20 rear.

Here is the pic with 255-35-19's in the front and 275-35-19's in the rear.

After lots of research and thougts,
I decided to go with Toyo T1-R .
245-35-20 (26.8 inchese) in the front and 275-30-20 (26.6 inches) in the rear. My only concern is that front tires may look thicker than the rear.
My wheels are Maya DTS
20x9 with +24 offset in the front and 20x10 with +26 offset in the rear. Would the front look more stuck out than the rear with these offset?
My car is going to get lowered about 1.25~1.5 inches.
For the last time,
Will I have a rubbing issue?
Thanks

actually, if you lower the car like i do, you will rub a bit at the top (normal for 20s setup)
and damn, don't get the dts! we will have two sets of dts in socal now!
i have 20x9 +24 and 20x10.5 +30, almost the same setup as you. trafficstar dts. anyway, socalsc4 is right about the tiresize. i have 255/35/20 in the front and 285/30/20 in the back.
and like i said, i my case i have no wheel gap, and i rub both front and back a bit when hitting dip, but nothing major at all

I thought you had 20x9 with +30 in the front and 20x10.5 with +29 in the rear. Thats what I read on the sticky about offsets?
How much did you lower your car?
I really don't want it to rub. Maybe I should get 245-30-20 (26 inches) in the front and
265-30-20 (26.3 inches).
What you think about the sizes?
