Who really know's offsets on a sc300???
I've seen a lot of SC's that are running 295's (mostly on 18x10's) and i'm wondering if there is enough room to run a 305/35/18? Actually i'm convinced there is since i've seen 315's (on a 17x11rim) It's just a matter of proper offset. Can anyone help with the proper offset to do this? I would prefer the rims are flush with the wheel well and no wheel well mods, although rolling would be ok if needed.
A 18x10 is wide enough for this tire size (some will disagree but i'm reading it right off of nitto's website, so please don't tell me to run a 265 ). Does anyone know what offset would be the best to run 305's? Any help would be appreciated!!

I'm not sure of the exact offset you'll need, but it will have to be high: like between +45 and +50. Right now I run an 18 x 10 +42 on a 275/35-18 and it rubs slightly over big bumps. I need to roll my fenders a little bit. You will definitely need some fender rolling. Instead of going with a 35 series tire, try going with a 305/30-18. It's closer to the factory diameter.

305/35-18 is a cool size, but it's pretty big for an 18x10" wheel. It would fit better on 18x11.
It's difficult to say if (for example) the 305 would 'clear' the fender with 18x10 +45 or +50. The 305 will be quite a bit wider than the wheel, so were a 285 or 295 would clear, the 305 may not due to the additional sidewall bulge.
I would go as far as a 315 on an 11.5" wide wheel on the SC... I'd use 18x11.5 +45, but I like my wheels aggressive.
(and I am good at modifying fenders).
I'm always amused that people want to push the envelope with tire sizes and then want "no mods and no rubbing." You know all those cool looking Japanese VIP and European cars with crazy looking wheel fitments? They ALL have modified fenders!

Do you think a 315 on a 18x11.5 would stick out past the fenderwell on a +45? I think BFG has a drag radial in that size, hmmm..
Sounds like everyone agrees on the offsets, some good info here,

At least i will be able to adjust the height accordingly if it's rubbing bad. I guess i'm more concerned about just getting the proper offset so i don't hit the suspension or have the wheel sticking out a lot.

So do you think a 18x10.5 with a +45 with a 305/30 bfg would work out? Nitto only has a 305/35 which sounds like it might cause more problems. Oh and do you carry volks?
