I agree I dont like that look where the front looks fatter than the back
In florida we can afford to ride on rubber bands because the roads are pretty good for the most part. I am sure other people are pretty skeptical about riding so low and worry about damaging rims and such.

With the 245/35 275/30 combo, the fronts will have slightly bigger sidewall. This is even more exaggerated with the 8.5/10 wheel width combo. With the caveat that some tire makes fit slightly differently, the sizes that are comfortable on those wheel widths are 245 front and 285 rears. The sidewall for these sizes are 3.4". The sidewall on a 275/30 is 3.2" and on a 10" width wheel, it very gets slightly stretched. Why not always go 245/285? Depending on the offset, some cannot comfortably fit 285s in the rear and are not willing to modify fenders. 275s are safer, fit-wise.
The other way is to go 235/35 and 275/30. Both of these are 3.2" sidewalls and will stretch slightly and should be close.
Like you guys, I also prefer the sizes to be the same or the rear to be larger (not the other way around). Keep in mind that the series number does not equal a set sidewall height. It is a percentage of the width. If you run the same series with different widths, the sidewalls WILL be different which translates to different size diameters for front and rear wheels.
LEXISM, if you want to beef up the rear, go to 285s IF you can fit it. Or to balance it out, go 235s in front if you cannot fit 285s. I know some are going

by Nitto?? What is the average pricing for these tires?
both of these sidewalls are the same, but yet still have the stretched look? I think all do this set up compared to the 245/30/20 and 275/30/20 or even the 285/25/20. Let me know!!!!

I just bought a set of wheels and t1r tires with the above specs for my LS430. fronts are 20x8.5 and rears 10.5:
And here are my last set of wheels with michelin ps2s 245/30/20 on a 9.5 and 295/25/20 on a 10.5:
Prior to the last set i was running 20s in 8.5s and 9.5s with t1r 245/35 and 275/30 set up. never bothered me much that the front tires were a tiny bit taller
