The black car that GATO posted has flared fenders, so that's not really fair...

Johnny, what width? 8.5 +18? 9.0 +18? This makes a difference.

I stretched my front fenders a little and stuffed a 20x9.5 +40. It was very aggressive with a Yohokama AVS Sport 255/35-20, but now it looks a little weak with a Falken FK-451 255/35-20- the Falkens are stretched. The new wheels will be more aggressive to close the gap.

20x9.5 +40 has the same frontspacing as:
20x9.0 +34
20x8.5 +28

My new set-up will be about 6-8mm more aggressive than the old, which will be about the same as 20x8.5 +20 or +22
My car isn't the lowest GS around and I have the camber adjusters maxed-out as positive as possible (to save the tires) and I still have about -1.7 degrees front & rear. If you spun the camber eccentrics around the other way you could probably get to about -3.0 degrees of camber. Also, if you're running Air, when you slam the car the tires will camber in and tuck at the top.

My vote is that 8.5 +20 or 9.0 +20 is do-able with Air, camber, and a VIP look.

Bob, I agree that with Air, when dumped, it will camber in and maybe tuck.......

But what about coilovers? let's say you dialed in at a pretty aggressive stance. wouldn't that have the same effect? do you think it can also be achived with coilovers?

also, is a 235/35/19 stretched on a 9 or semi stretched?

well, very stretched tires, slam the car, put camber to copletely full negative, roll, shave, and pull on fenders. i think you can just get them to fit in
