Hey Texas that air gun pump thing attachment looks nice. Also are the valve stem caps you using a hex? I have seen alot of the caps that go in the valve stem are metal and a hex, my friends use a mini ratchet to put them on and take them off. I think its an 8mm ratchet.

Also not sure where the 2pc valve stem goes I think its just inside with no L

Yea, they are the hex type caps. That is a good idea. I will give that a try. Thanks for the tip. By doing that, it will not be such a big deal to get in there.

The stem on mine are way in the back of the rim and are straight with no "L". They come out of the wheel at like a 30deg angle.

for 440R and 540R, the one with rivets, it goes through one of the rivet holes

for 840R, the one with no rivets clean look, they point straight up, so yup, very hard to add air as well. we should ask davegs4

Thanks for the info henry. I was just wondering if HRE had a better way to access the air valve on non rivet wheels

So you pay all that money to have to squeeze your hand to fill the air, that sucks, does Work VS-XX have this same issue??

I guess thats a good lesson to you future iForge buyers. Dont fake the funk and go cheap getting the 2pc wheels with rivets. Just buy the 3pc or get the 2pc with no rivets

I seriouslly would not take it THAT far. The 2pc wheels are made of the same alloys and forging technics as the 3pc the only difference is the outer barrel and valvestem placement. And if you think about it the topic of this thread is valve stem placement so rivets or not, with a 2pc wheel its in the same location. The price difference between 2pc and 3pc is about 500.00 so I also don't think I would necessesarily classify 2pc owners as CHEAP, since 3k on 20" wheels alone is not pennies

I am not trying to offend anyone. And I am sure the 2pc rims are nice, just saying often times people get the 2pc rims with rivets to make them look like 3 pc rims. So am tellin those people to just pay a little more and get real 3pc rims Thus dont fake the funk

Of course not, I dont think it was taken as offense, I honestly just dont want people to think iFORGED 2pc wheels cost 1200.00 for a set of 20" lol
