Default Stumbled upon these pics today (G35 sedan with 22" wheels)

Hey guys, we sponsor the G35 forums , and I found these pics today, its a G35sedan with 22" wheels (guess this could be linked to TXTstyles 350z on 22's thread).

I think the FM platform sharing (coupe, sedan, suv, sports car) is what allows all these cars to accomodate such large wheels. The G35sedan looks more natural with 22's than a 2nd gen gs. That being said, I would never do this, but if the owner is happy that is the main objective right? No D2 did not supply these wheels (before you even think of asking! lol)

I just don't know what to say anymore, I run into so many people that really like this I just don't want to argue with them as to why they think this looks good. I get some of the same people asking me why I don't put 22 or 21's cuz they say my 20's look small. I just say wow.

To each his own, that's what I would say.

If by more natural you mean driven out deep into the woods and shot Soprano's style, then rolled into a lake to be with the fishes, I agree with you 100%

It does fit oversized rims better than a GS though, lol. Not my style but its somebody's baby and they like it so more power to 'em. I'm happy it doesn't have a big '22' on the quarter panel.

That was exactly my point, I get so many guys asking if they can do 22's on a GS, and then they would see this and say "see that g35 is smaller than a GS and it hold 22's"!!! Thats why I made that FM platform sharing reference which makes it a little easier, and the gaps would be EVEN WORSE on a GS!! lol

Like you and I both said "I'd never do it" but someone did and their happy so I guess we can leave it right there! lol

And trust me they were probably just sold out of the "22" that day.

From pics,

You really can't tell they are 22's. I thought they were 20's from the pic.

Who ever the owner is, he is going to have a ROUGH ride.

You think the sedan is ugly? I'll be the first to admit the coupe is prettier, but I think the sedan with some nice wheels and the 06 tails, lowering, etc is pretty handsome. We did a navy blue one with some 20" staggered iFORGED Equips and it was pretty darn sharp!

The sedan isn't that bad looking if it's done right.
