I'm looking at some 19" inch rims and want to make sure they will fit my 98 GS400.

I know that Roml has the fitment guide, but I want to double check if these wheels will fit propery on my car without any rubbing (Also it didnt have the offset that I am looking at).

The dimension are 19 x 8.0 offset +35, tires 245-35-19 all the way round.

Please let me know if this set up will work nicely with my car. Also, will the wheels be flush with the fendor? If anyone has this set-up with the 35 offset on there GS please post your pics so I can see how they will look.

it will work on the car. the front is ok, not too bad. the rear is going to be a bit weak as usual since it's not staggered. but overall it's a fine setup

Thanks for your help Rominl! When you mentioned " The front is ok, not too bad", do you mean the front will look more aggresive compared to the rear because I am not doing the staggered look?

Also after reading your FAQ on wheel fitment, would it be a good idea to go with 235/35/19 in the front and 245/35 in the back? I don't want any issues with rubbing with the set up.

yes, definitely. bottom line is the gs can take staggered setup, so rear you have more space to play with. if you are getting non-staggered, all you can do is to "max out" the front right? but even with a maxed out front, putting that in the rear and it's still relatively weak. that's for sure
