Default MAE Test fitment 19x10 | 19x11

Decided to test fit some crazy wheels.

Background: these wheels came used from Japan but in such good condition. Only problem is no offsets. Maybe even been rebuilt with wider barrels and rings. Who knows... no stickers or info behind the center caps. So, lets just throw it on.

As you can tell, these are way off. If my OZ Scara's are 27mm front and back, these babys must be cloer to a 10mm offset.

Tire sizes are 235/30 & 275/30.

Anyways, thought I share these funny images:

Rest of the Images.

those MAE from memoryfab are sick. I have to agree they may have been completely rebuilt considering they are mint.

I am trying to fit some Weds Cerberus II that got from memory fab right now. With stock fenders they were sticking out 40mm front and rear when I bought them !

I like Dish Neo. The IS300 community is still very sporty... and u know me, i do the opposite of others.

But, yeah.... its too bad these dun fit.

I like these wheels alot..... even on the small IS chassis and lines. But it just looks way too big.... almost like 20's on an IS. Anyways... if the offset were correct, we could of at least see it closer to drivable.

Nice lookin' wheels.....haven't seen a set of MAE's in awhile. Too bad they don't fit your IS, they actually look nice on there. So what car are they going on?

Hey Solo you should post this up at vipstylecars.com

Anyhow, I actually called Memoryfab about those exact same wheels and was wondering if they would like to do a swap with my Amistad's...but looking at your post it seems like the offset is not 38mm like they said.

By the way, where did you get your flares from?

one way you could find out the offset is measure the start of the flange to the fender then compare to your Scara's to see what the offset is.

I remember seeing the offsets and thinking they were very high for aggressive wheels.

I love the Weds but its quite the ordeal making them fit !

thx brotha. Yeah, these MAEs are hard to find.... my guess, these wheels have ben rebuilt or refinished. Offset is unknown... my guess: 10mm front and rear. And these are R disk, meant for bbk.

yeah i'll post it tonight.

What car are you consider these wheels for???
My flares are Wald. The front has been cut to resemble Rspec flares to fit on aftermarket bumpers.

Im gonna calculate the offset tonight. My guess is 10mm and under. These wheels also have a hunk of material behind the hub meant for BBK. Judging from my Scaras, they stick out nearly 2 inches front and back:

Will post calculations tonight.

Was thinking of putting it on my LS.

But looks like it will give me the same amount of work with my current wheels.

I thought the offsets were what they had listed on thier site.
