I bought 20's about a week ago, and I ran into 2 problems...... Hopfully someone can help me out on these issues....
1) When I go past 55-60, on the highway the steering wheel starts to raddle badly, someone said I need spacers? What are they? And how much will they cost??
2)My brakes squeek when I try to stop... I do I make them sound normal? Do I need new ones for my new wheels since they are bigger???

Na u dont need spacers, the tire shop needs to verify that those rims are the correct offset for the car. 2nd, take it to a shop that can balance 20"rims and better. Mine did that also, and the first shop that did it balanced them like they did 15" rims, that's a no no. Took it to a rim shop and they did it with a special machine made for the bigger rims of today. Came out smooth as a baby a@#. Also see if they gave you hub centric spacers, those help also. If none of this work, take them back.

IMO, rims on a stock height (esp. 20's) look nasty - get that **** dropped!
You need hubcentric rings - they center the rim on the wheel hub. For question 2 - change the pads to OEM, clean and grease the slider pins and turn to rotors, the squeeling will stop.

I don't think the rim place I bought it has these balancing tools, not sure..... If they don't is it a good idea to go to a place like SEARS or Pep Boys (big franchises) and have them balance it, or find another local rim shop with the right tools?

Anyone who installs tires should have a machine to balance them as well.

If you care about your RIms and Tires than stay away from Sears and Pep Boys
....I would definetely ask around and go to a reputable shop that is known for selling, mounting and balancing larger wheels and tires...
