Default Can I run staggered wheels on a AWD?

Hi all, This week I plan on getting some wheels and springs for my AWD and I've been checking out some of the staggered wheels posts and really like the look. But I am not sure if I am going to tear up my trans with a staggered setup. I think if I can keep the wheel diameter the same for the front and rear I'll be OK. But I can't find a 19" tire size that is an exact match. The closest is a .10 difference in diameter. Will that be OK? Also, I plan on getting the Eibach Pro-Kit springs. But none of the websites mention AWD only 350 rwd and 250 rwd. Will the 250 rwd work on my AWD? Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

BTW here is a shot of my wheel selection...

search the wheel forum for "stagger awd", there is a long thread and tons of discussions already

in short, yes you can do it, as long as the overall diameters are the same front and back

Run the same wheel and tire size all the way around, just use a lower offset in the rear. That's what I'm going to do...then you don't have to worry about different rolling diameters.

I was going to do the same thing but I called around this morning and got some good news from a couple Lexus Tech's at Bob Baker and Woodfield Lexus. They mentioned that if the OD for the front and back tires are within 2% the trans and diff should be OK. I ran this staggered setup by them and got the thumbs up...

Front:
19x8 +40 offest
225 35 19
OD = 25.20

Rear:
19x9.5 +42 offset
265 30 19
OD = 25.26

After I have them installed I'll let you know if my trans/diff blows up or starts to perform poorly.

My rep said that the wheels were just released and are new for this year. He hasn't confirmed the order yet so I don't know about the 19" staggered availability. I spent so much time researching this that I hope he can get them. I don't want to do this again for another set of wheels.

I've been considering those wheels too but unfortunately I won't be able to go staggered with them because the only offset availabe for the rear is +25. Too aggresive and I don' t want to do any modification to get them to fit. Only way was 19x8.5 all around. I really want to go staggered so I'm looking into the Axis Pentas but are twice as much.

Be sure to post pics of them when you get them on.
