What if people don't want to go staggered but still maintain the same wheel/tire size all around?

What's an alternate option if someone wants better handling w/out going wider/staggered?

Does lowering come into play?
Does spacers come into play?
What are the other options that he/she can apply ?

thanks for your input.

lowering helps
stiffer springs and shocks help
sway bars help
braces and bars help
lighter brakes help

spacers technically can help, coz' it wider out the wheels, but i don't recommend

ultimately, it's about overall balance. doing all the above and then the width of wheel and tires (together with brand and model) will start to matter

Thank you guys for all the help and support. Just one more question though; if I wanted to put 20" wheels on my 2000 GS300, what size width should it be on the front and the back? 20x8, 20x9? What would be the easiest staggard setup. I'm not trying to invest a rediculous amount of time in money on installing rims.

you can easily put 10 or even 10.5 in the back.

read my guide at the top of this forum, you can get tons of info there

I would definitely look for performance oriented tires. Great tires can never be a bad thing. Give me great tires with stock width over staggered setup with the crappiest tires. And besides, your life is worth the higher cost.
