Hello Guys, I am new to this forum and just bought a 99 GS300. First investment is going to be wheels and suspension and I have no idea on what wheel specs I need. I am looking to go with 20" IForged wheels and wanted to know the widest i can go. I want to push the biggest possible lip for the rear and don't know how far I can go on a stock wheel base. 20x10.0 back max? Can you guys help me with what wheel specs i can do before i have them start making the wheel. And what suspension set up do you prefer. I was thinking Tein CS or going with a brand called KW. Please HELP> Thanks Guys!

A few here have HREs with 20 x 11 in the rear so it is possible. As far as the biggest lip for iForged I believe it is still 4", and to get that you need the extreme fit group of wheels in 3pc. For more info you can pm Derrick @ D2Autosport. Tell him what you want and iForged will take care of the offsets and such

Yup. It all depends on how far you want to go to get your goal. Things to consider: shaving fender lips, stretched tires, and camber adjustments. All these options will get you a very aggressive setup, but there are downsides too.

Big lip and wide width are not necessarily one in the same, in some cases you can get a larger lip on a 20x10 than on a 20x11 so be sure of what you want. I have KW Variant 3's on my personal car and they are great. We can get you set up with a set of iFORGED and if its big lip your after, then save your money with the 11's (uness you need the extra traction for forced induction, etc)

Thanks Guys, yeah well i dont think i would like to go to the extreme with the lip, i'd like a 4 inch lip, did a little research and could go with 20x10 and 20x9.5 in the front. And i called GROUP 5 motorsports here in san diego and they say KW doesn't make a coilover for the 98+ GS300. Is that true? Please let me know. THANKS AGAIN GUYS. Appreciate the help.
