i have a 2000 gs300, and i am about to buy some 20's along with bridgestone so3 tires. after reading Rominl's exceptional write up. I learn so much about wheels. However, I do not want to do any modifications such as fender rolling, trimming and/or shaving. i want as little or no rubbing at all. I will be getting coilvers soon. here it goes:

20x8.5 +38

rear
20x9.5 +38

front
245/35/20

rear
275/30/20

is this setup okay? feel free to add anything.... thank you

I thought you can go little more aggressive on the rear. Also, I would put 285-30-20's for the rear is possible so you have same diameter height on both front and rear tires.

285 on 9.5 that's too wide imho

but yes, the setup you mention will work perfectly. that's the setup i had before
