Polish, what can I say I hate it... But today I finally tried mothers billet metal polish with no powerball by hand after a fresh soap and water wash and the results came out great. Almost new. Took me about 1.5 hours total but I am very happy with the results. Here are some brefore and after pics so you can see how they turned out.

totally, adrian. that's the good thing about polished wheels with no clear coat. given enough time, effort, and the right tools, they can look as shiny as pure mirrors
congrats man. and i feel bad for your elbow

That looks great. I used the powerball also and that just didnt work at all. Love the mothers billet polish and think I am going to do this this weekend. Do you finish it off with any kind of wheel wax?

I can't lie after 3 wheels I was spent but I wanted to finish all 4 so I sucked it up and had a Pepsi. than i finished the last wheel.
Rich- I didn't use anything else afterwards. Should I?

I use poorboys wheel sealant. Works great and lasts a long time. Makes the finish super smooth and dirt/brake dust doesnt cling on as much. Plus I notice after it rains it is a bit easier to clean the wheels off. Its just an extra step, goes on easy and comes off even easier.

hate to say "I told you so" but..........well you get the point! lol
Now do the same thing, and use Meguiars NXT all metal polish, and do the same thing (take it off quickly - section at a time)
Damn those are some nice wheels! lol

looks BADASS! Adrian
Congrats!
...so what ?...powerball sucks ??
takes me about 15-20 to do my wheels and tires (w/ clearcoat) and they still shine
Spay tire wet
Windex
Wipe clean (paper towel)
Quick detailer
Wipe clean (microfiber towel)
DONE
if you use the poorboys sealent ...let us know how much easier the cleaning is afterwards
Congrats!

You have clearcoat, I wouldn't do anything other than what you are doing now except mayb the windex. I think that can be a little rough on clearcoat over time.....

definitely, if you have clear coat on your wheels, do NOT (again, NOT) use any of the metal rubbing compound. youa re just scratching your clear coat making it all dull!!!!!
if anything only juse normal paint polishing compound, that's all you can do

I have Zaubers with polished lips as well.
I use a product called NEVERDULL, just a metalic wool of some sort, takes about 5 Minutes a wheel to clean and shines like new.
Here is a picture of the lip 1 week after wash/rub with neverdull.
Bit of brake dust but other than that looking good.
