As I said in my former post, no matter what the lip size, the wheels look awesome. I also personally think that stronger spoke fits the lines of the SC430 very well, its adds some "starch" to the normally soft lines of the car. For those that don't like it now, I bet they'll love it once its lowered a bit more than the current 1"

Enjoy the new rollers, and for the sake of humanity please, DON'T CHANGE WHEELS AGAIN!!!! LOL
Thank for your input. I would have never known how they measure the lip.

Also, during the time when I was looking for some wheels, Thanks for all your help. The only thing was Dave got me a price that I could not refuse.

SSK, I just had a discussion with my friend about Vellano wheels. He is very interested in those. How does Vellano compare with Zone wheels in quality? I don't know anything about either, so I assume they are similar.

I am pretty sure they are both great quality. I know both are forged, they use T-6061 alloy.

I really never saw any Zone wheels in person.

There are several reason why I went with Vellanos.

1. Price. (Dave gave me a great price)

2. The quality of the wheels structure. They are very solid. I think it was 6mm thick all the way through the barrel and lips are Very Very thick and solid compare to some of other wheels I looked at. There are still many wheel manufactures out there that make hollow lips.

3. Customer service. Dave told me that from his experiance with Vellanos, they pretty much do what ever it takes to make sure that customer is happy./satisfied. Also that if I have any issues, they are lot easier to deal with than some other wheel manufactures. They have great customer serivce. I am sure vendor has lot to do with it also. I don't think there are many manufactures out there that are willing to do what Vellano did for me. Making a whole new wheel just because customer was not happy/satisfied .

Just went out and measured the lip and DERRICK AT D2 was right.

The actual lip sized is about 4.5 if you measure it from spokes but its about 5.5 inches if you measure from just behind the spoke. where the spoke starts from.

First Pic.

Second Pic
