Is the quality of lowenharts good? are the Lowenhart LD1s good quality? Are the 19's and 20's bent easily when going over a little pothole? How strong is their material? Does anyone know if these are one, two or three piece rims? And also how about the quility of 18" Enkei Phalenx. Are they bent easily also?

Lowenhart is top quality and you have to pay premium for this stuff. I was gonna get LD1 instead of my RH C5 before.
Most of the time, it's not easy to bent 18" rims. My car went over couple pot holes at high speed and the lips are still good.![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
However, you have to be careful if you drive on 20" set. Really careful.

VNGS400 - I know Enkei's are not quite as premium as some of the other brands talked about here but I have used them in the past on various bimmers. Got input from some people in the suspension business that Enkei's are strong and run true, which is about all I was interested in. Not familiar with the specific model you mentioned.

The advantage of 2/3 piece wheels is that if you DO indeed bend the wheels, then you can just replace the lips....no need to buy the entire wheel again (like with 1 piece wheels).
LIPLESS 1 piece wheels (which most 1 piece wheels are) don't bend their lips as easily because they HAVE no lips...the spokes usually go right to edge...but it's still VERY possible to bend a 1 piece lipless 18" wheel...I've done it...

Manaray has explained very throughly. I wonder how you can bent a 1pc 18" lipless rim. Passing a pot hole at 130 mph eh? I went over some pot hole (God knows the road condition on So Cal free way) with my 18" C5 rims (3pc) at around 85 mph. Before I was very concerned about my rims and later found out everything was fine. ![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Props to RacingHart quality.

Racing Aristo - Actually, it was only at 35 MPH but I hit a JAGGED pothole JUST RIGHT...a point met the lip of wheel (blew out the tire) and bent my lip...later found out that it also cracked the wheel (hairline...but no matter, I still chucked the wheel)...this is why I say that no matter WHAT type of wheel you have, you can bend them...it's all about CHANCE...***** happens...
Hell, I remember when I bent my FACTORY 14" STEEL wheel on an old Accord...like I said, ***** happens...
