So, I went to Kodiak's website and got the .pdf for wheel shells. Based on what you all are saying, Kodiak will only do a step format??? Why do you say that? I am looking at the .pdf right now and I have to fill in some info that I am not too sure about. Can you all help with this? Here are the questions:

1. Number of mounting bolts and on what bolt circle radius
2. Center bore cut out size
3. Outside Diameter of wheel center
4. Mounting bolt hole diameter
6. Wheel shell diameter
7. Inner wheel shell width
8. Outer wheel shell width

The bent wheel is a 19x8.5.

Thanks for any help.

Ron

you might be better off contacting kodiak. i dont think anyone here has dealt with them.

the wheels on my old ES where multi-piece.

A few years back my girl was driving the car and hit a huge pot hole.
it bent that rim pretty massive.

Discount tire, along with numerous wheel shops in my area, all told me it was not reairable because it damaged the Barrel.

but I remembered a place called Advantage Tire pros, a baller type place here in Dallas.
I took the wheel to them and he used a heating technic to repair the damage.

Ghetto, sure, but it worked. he said it wasn't perfect. but after mounting the rubber and balacing the wheel, I could never tell the diffrence

Ya, I have a guy here in Queens who says he can use some heating technique to fix the wheel... but I just have a gut feeling that my life will be in jeopardy if I fix this dent as opposed to replacing the lip. The inner part of the barrel looks fine. It's just the lip that's badly dent in.

Default 19" replacement Gettin

Check the wheel classifieds as I recall someone selling a set of 5 Gettins earlier this year. The new owner may be willing to sell the extra. Then again, for all the trouble you're experiencing, they might be better served hanging on to that extra. Good luck in your search

Holy crap. That wheel is done.
Any shop that says they can repair that doesn't know much about metallurgy...
or care about your safety.

Your best bet is to try and find a used Gettin to replace it.

This is a dead-end; they only make wheel 'shells' up to 18" anyway.

You certain about that? ...sigh. I e-mailed them last night and have not gotten a response to this point. What makes my situation even worse is that if I must find a replacement wheel (as opposed to getting a new shell) is my Gettins are on My BMW 3 series, which are incrementally more difficult to find than for Lexus. ...sigh.

you could always get them re-drilled if you happen to find a suitable replacement with the wrong lug pattern.

But the offset will be different. This is just tragic.

Well... guess what guys... I gave the wheel to a friend who said that he know of a place that might be able to fix it. He called the place for me and they told him to ship the wheel to them and they would look at it and determine if they can fix it and if they can they will. If not, they would just send the wheel back. Well, they fixed it!!! They sent it back on Monday but I have not yet had an opportunity to go down and look at it. Supposedly, it looks awesome, but I am pretty concerned about the integrity of the wheel now. I will be sure to keep you guys up to date with pictures when I get it.

Thanks for all of your help and comments. I know you all will have more to say now, so please keep it coming!

Thanks again!
