One piece wheel/tire
I've heard that this is going to be a reality. It is a wheel/tire that the tire is airless and comes on the wheel. When the tire wears out you get a new wheel/tire. The wheel flex's so the ride is good and you can't get a flat since no air in the tire. Anyone have info on this? I'm going to SEMA the end of the month and if these are for real I want to look up the manufacture.

ah, the Tweel...
I first heard of this from our Michelin rep years ago.... 2-3 maybe more?
Anyways, it seems promising, but, there is still development to go... they already have a version of it available for loaders and bobcats and such, though not quite entirely the form you see in the pictures...
