Default Will 20x9 wheels with 275/35/20 tires cause rubbing on front fenders?

Keep in mind that I'm lowered on NF210 springs. If I'm going with 20's, I'm not going staggered b/c it's AWD. Yes, I know many people will say that it's perfectly fine running a staggered setup with an AWD tranny, but I'm not interested in going that route. I know that offset plays a huge role, so is this combination possible with the correct offset? I do not want to roll, cut, or do any modifications to the fender.

Default Mine do rub

I am running IForged 20" on my car and just I have a slight rubbing on hard turns, it just rubs on the plastic directly at the 3 o'clock position.

20X9 with 275/30 on the front rims? Wow, I ran 275 in the back of my NSX. I didn't think it was possible to run that wide a tire up front on an IS.

It's 275/35 on a GS.

Oops, Been making the rounds to all the forums. Got a little confused. Still, 275 up front? Are you sure it is even possible? That would be something to see if you can pull it off. I'm guessing this will definitely not be you winter rim set up

I know SanseiGS43 is running 20x9.5 up front, but I'm not sure what the tire specs are. Definitely won't be my winter set up unless I'm in the mood to go drifting.

In running 9.5 in front, offset is key. Running 275s, I thik you are asking for trouble. Unless the 3GS wheel well is a lot different than the 2GS (and I have not seen any indication that it is), 255s on 20x9 were already causing problems on some members' 2GS.

Why would anyone want 275s on the front!? While the steering may be power assisted that much bigger footprint is going to put a lot more strain on the system. Plus noise will be higher, weight is higher. Makes no sense.

I want to go as wide in the front as possible b/c I'd be running the same size all around since I'm not staggering. If 275 isn't possible, what do you think the widest size would be?

9 in the front is no probelm as long as offset is right. the 275 is a huge problem, you will have serious problem. i would say stick with 245/35/20

Thanks, Henry. So 255 wouldn't even fit?

You don't wanna stagger because of AWD I take it, or because you want to rotate the wheels? If only cuz of AWD you can get staggered tire sizes that are very close in circumference which shouldn't be any problem with the AWD.

Another approach is spacers on the back to push them out a bit.

255 should be doable, but don't take my word for that.

255/35 will fit no problem, but it's wide, so you might see rubbing issues

275/35-20 is wayy too tall for a 3GS period, much less on the front axle.

So just out of curiosity, what is the largest/widest I can go in the front without rubbing or any other issues? 255/35/20?

I know it's in a different class, but the Audi S8 comes stock with 265/35/20 all around so that's why I was wondering if we could do that on the 3GS.
