Smile Should I get 18s or 19s?? Please Help....

I am gonna be picking up a 2001 GS and i am debating whether to go with 18x8.5/18x9.5 or go with a 19 inch rim. I plan on dropping it with some TEIN SS and I am goin to be daily driving it. I like the look of 19s but the tires are $$$ do u guys think that the 18s will look too small???? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated......

I say 19's , much better look . of course , you can pull off 18's with no trouble . so it's all about preference .

If done corrrectly, 19's will look great and there will be hardly any loss in ride quality. My 19's are +35 and 19x8 all the way around with 245x35 UHP Generals. I would of liked a little more offset on the rears, about 5mm, but I really wanted to go with the same size for tire rotations later on. The choice is all yours and I understand the rationalization of cash flow, 18's can look mighty fine too. Whatever you choose, try to match the overall diameter of stock as close as possible to keep things in sync, i.e. the speedo.

While I have 18's currently, 19's are that sweet spot.

BTW I've had both 18s and 19s... personally would go for a 'fat 19' setup for the best combination of looks and ride quality.

18s

19s

What is the ride quality between:
A) a dropped 245/40/18 & 275/35/18 (with barely a 1 finger gap front & rear)
B) a dropped 245/35/19 & 275/30/19 (with 1 finger gap front & rear)?

Which of the above options would contribute a more smoother ride?

Thanks in advance

19s all day every day! With a nice sized lip of course.
Are 19s to y'all what 22s are to Impalas like mine?
If so then it is purely a judgement call based on driving style and local roads.
I role conservative 20s because Michigan roads have potholes inside of potholes.
