Default Tire Question. I need help ASAP!

Alright, I'm getting some new tires in a few days. I now have some 18x7 I believe Konig Monsoon wheels. What size tire would fit the best, I want smoothness here, and room for when I get some Eibach's to lower the car an inch? Thanks, Adam

The wheels need to have the same over all diameter as the original for the ABS to function correctly.

225-55-16 Original
245-40-18 would be the same dia.

The original wheels are 16x7 with 225x55x16 tires and even that the wheels seem too narrow for the tires. With 18, it requires wider tires to maintain the same diameter. 7 inch in width is too narrow, isn't it? It doesn't sound like these wheels (18x7) are for SCs.

7" is pretty skinny, but he probably could squeeze a set of 245's on them, but that is really pusing the limit. 8" wheels would be ideal.

No matter what tire you fit, with only 7" wide rims, you need not worry about lowering the car, as any tire will always be to small to rub.

I was just curious. What size tire did you end up putting on your Konig 18x7 rims? Did you have a problem with the ABS not working such as what was mentioned earlier? Cause I purchase a set of 18x7 rims and I went with 235/40/18's.

Thanks
