Hey guys,
My friend is trying to sell me his 19's Brabus rims. It's off his 1999 S-Class. I have a1997 Lexus LS400. Are there any modifications needed? Or can i just bolt them on?
Thanks!
Kenny

Those wheels would have to be custom drilled because a mercedes bolt pattern is a 5x112 and the lexus is 5x114.3 therefore it will not work also you must check the offset see if works for your car www.wheeksboutique.com

Thanks for the info. I just called Spreewell Racing, and they said the same thing. They said that they can redo the rim for me for $300. What do you think?

I have an SC300 and used wheels with a 5 x 112 (Benz) bolt pattern. It worked just fine. Bear in mind that the difference is only 2.3mm. It sounds like Sprewell might have been looking to make a quick $300. Don't let his sales staff choke you out of your hard earned money.

You would be surprised the difference that 2.3mm will make it can cause severe vibration and it will also bend your studs inwards later making harder to put back on your factory wheels it will work but not properly then again you might get lucky and nothing will happen but 300.00 sounds like alot of money in miami i can get it for like 45 bucks a wheel shop around www.wheelsboutique.com

What happened to me was that I ordered a set of Giovanna Corsica in 20", 5 x 114.3, and it wasn't until I was installing them that I noticed the bolt pattern on the back of the wheel was 5 x 112. I knew it was close so I went ahead with it and it was fine. I didn't have any problems though. I have since had two sets of 5 x 114.3 wheels on there. Thanks for the tip though.

Offset is exactly where the wheel sits on the vehicle widthways. The higher the offset the closer to the vehicle it sits, and the lower the offset the farther out it sits. Every vehicle has an ideal offset and when using wheels you want to match that offset as close as possible. I hope that was easy to follow.
