Guys,

What is the biggest tire I can put on a 19x8 wheel? It needs to be a 2xx/35/19.

Personally, I would not go more than 245. Depending on the manufacturer, you might be able to push 255. I would not do it though. 235 would be a nice fit but 245 would be good too.

I thought you said it needed to be a 35 series?

Go with 35 if you want OEM diameter specs. 40 if you want fatter "20s" specs.

My choice would be 245/40 to get some extra clearance. If you don't want the look of that much rubber, then 245/35 is fine for OEM specs.

Sorry Neo - what I meant was that I wanted to keep it similar to the diameters I am running with the 245/35/19 that I already have on there.

So to stay close to that you are suggesting 245/40??

Thx man,
jonny

I like 245/40 because it gives a little bit better ride quality (more rubber) and 1/2" less drop needed. I am used to rubbing issues with 20s and the extra 1" in diameter so 245/40/19 is familiar.

In your case, if you want to stay with the OEM diameter that you had with 245/35/19, I would stay with that. I am assuming this is a new set of wheels that are 19x8 + 42 all around? If this is the case, 235/35 or 245/35 (for a little more rubber) would be fine.
