I'm not complaining about the prices of tires. I'm just looking for a good tire at a good price. I've got an opportunity to get a great deal on a set of Falken FK-452's 285/25 & 245/30. I was looking to see if you or anyone you know had any experience with them. I'll be putting them on 20x8.5 & 20x10.5 wheels.

I had a very bad experience with Falken high-performance tires (different model though, - 512 or something). They were great for the first couple thousand miles, but then started to flat-spot terribly, and road noise increased noticeably. I got rid of them after only about 5,000 miles. Total waste of money!

Have you tried checking reviews for these tires somewhere? I know that Tire Rack does not carry Falkens, but maybe other Web tire retailers have some reviews?

Thanks for your reply. These are the new luxury tire they offer. I'll do a little more research. Im getting them all for the price of one Michelin so I may just get them a try :-)

The FK452 is by no means a luxury tire... it is just as much junk as the 512's / 502's / anything else Falken... The only tire worth anything that they sell is the RT615, which handles its job well as an autocross / light duty track tire that you can drive on the street...

just my humble opinion...
