Wheel Tire Look and Options
The new front wheels on my 2001 LS didn't fit quite the way I imagined. They sit outside the fender slightly more than I would like. Details: 18 x 9 (front and rear, don't know offset), Toyo Proxes 4 245/45/18's. MRR doesn't have different offsets, so my options are as follows:
1. Move the REAR wheels out via spacers a little to make them both sit out the same amount. Spacers were required to make the front clear the calipers (about 4 - 5 mm).
2. Sell these and start over.
Thoughts? Let me also say that i bought these from D-2 and Derrick has been AWESOME to deal with. VERY accomodating and has bent over backwards to make sure I'm happy with the purchase. If I end up buying another set, I'm going back to D-2 again.

This definitely does not look right. I can't believe that MRR doesn't have any other offsets. I think maybe you should go with a staggered set up and shrink the front down to an 8 at least. You should be given the chance to exchange it since the fronts definitely have the wrong offset. Check the Tire Rack site or other wheel companies to see what acceptable offsets work. Most recommend an 8 inch wheel with a 35mm to 42mm offset. For what it's worth the rears look fine and you probably could lower it a bit to smooth out the look.
