These will be my first set of tires. Very good rated A/S and reasonably priced.

The bridgestone RE960AS pole positions sure got a great rating on tirerack.com. I have always been partial to bridgestone for high performance tires and will probably go with them when the time comes. Price is pretty good as well.

Default Toyo Proxe

4's for all season & TR-1 for performance.

I've got the 235/40/18's all the way around and they are comfortable, quiet and give a great profile & stance.

Toyo T1-R are EXTREMELY LOUD once they start to wear... so since the OP put "road noise" as #1 on his list, I would not recommend he get them...

Here are my recommendations with the criteria you are looking for...

Michelin Pilot Sport A/S and Pirelli P-Zero Nero M&S.

Toyo T1-R is what I currently run on. They do get loud as they are strictly performance...summer only tire. It does pretty well in the wet.

From me as a JDM fan's veiw.
I would stay on JDM products.
Bridgestone is da-best tire manufacture in Jap.
So I would stay on 050 for summer, and 960PP for wet season.

The only negative is Bridestones are heavy:
2lbs (per tire) heavier than Dunlops, and 4lbs heavier than Michelins !
Btw, did you know that the OEM Dunlops are made in Japan . . .

Default Toyos and Pirellis (and bears oh my?!?!)

If i turn my car in for a new 350, i'll be asking for the Michelin A/S. I hate having to spend $500 bucks not even at the midpoint in my lease so i would rather just get a tire that lasts a longer amount and sacrifice a little noise and comfort - hopefully it will be a very little noise and comfort though!!!

What EXACTLY are the a/s tires Toyo and Pirelli make for the stock 18" wheels? I've heard great things about both tires and would like some more info - tirerack doesnt seem to offer whatever they are.

I've been reading about this brakebad thing (not to completly change the subject), can you get it done no matter how much brake you have left? I have almost the exact same milage as you and probably about 25% brakes left. Will they give new pads for free at that point?!?!

Good luck... Everything I've heard about those is that they are junk after 10k...

I've found ratings on tire rack very very very subjective... in which price plays a huge factor, and the better the tire is, the higher the subjectivity... cheap tires almost always get good ratings if they even perform decently, just because they are cheap...
