Another rim fitment question...TSWs on LS400
I have a set of 18x7 TSW Kyalamis shown here:
http://www.tsw.com/details.php?wheel...xus_LS400_1995
Currently they are on my legend, so I assumed there is no way they would fit the lexus. TSW is showing them as fitting...which I guess makes sense, since stock wheels are 16x7 45offset, these are 18x7 42 offset. So that part is fine.
questions:
1. How can you tell if a wheel will clear the brake kit? I know this is an issue with our cars. TSW shows the wheel as fitting, but you know how internet information is.
2. The inner bore of the rim is 72mm.....there is NOT a hubcentric ring in that size. The ring would come in 72.6 -> 60.1 for the lex, but when I tried to use a 72.6->70.1 to fit on my acura, that .6 extra makes the ring impossible to fit.
Any ideas?
I'd hate to strip these rims off my acura, but I'm very curious to see some 18s on the lex

ah, simple...
get the hub rings from TSW...
I have the Kyalami's on my car as well, and with them came nice, machined aluminum hubrings (they actually become part of the wheel almost when they are installed)
as far as fitting or not, they should, but the only way to tell would be to test fit or measure...
mine are 18x8's on the front (+40), and there is a ton of room, however the SC has smaller brakes...
