I am expecting at least 30-35K miles out of them.....if I get 30K with no loss of traction and handling and they remain quiet I will be buying them again.
My brother just got a set for his Eclipse and he says the same thing... I only got to drive them in the dry and I was extremely impressed by their dry weather handling...

I'm thinking of trying the new Nitto Invo. The write-ups say they are comfy and quiet. They have a really funky tread pattern that looks cool to me.

Vin78 - the Yok's are a good alternative, however, if anything, they are a cheaper alternative... I've always been a fan of the dB's...

reggiek - I have installed only one set of those, and while they look cool, and seem ok new, I don't have enough info to make a real statement about them... it does seem Nitto is finally on the right track, but the tires are still kinda new to know for sure...

In turms of quietness - anyone want to comment on the Toyo tires on the Lexus? I'm running a set of Toyo T1R's on my MR2 and it's very very quiet. I wonder how it will do on the Lex?

They shouldn't be any worse than they are on the MR-2...

however, cars with aggressive alignments and directional tires like that are more prone to tire noise...

MLevingson, How do the Pilots effect the handling? Thank you.

I got those Nitto Invo's. So far so good. Pretty quiet. Pretty comfy. Not PS2 standard but not bad for the bucks. If they hold up another set will go on the other car.

So far that's been my experience with them... hopefully they don't dry up and get hard as a rock like other Nittos are known for...

Based upon my experience of riding in cars (MKIV Supras) with Michelin Pilot Sports and BFG KDs, the KDs are loud as hell compared to the Michelins. IF, IF, you are on a race track or some faboulous open curvy road where you can push the limits of the PS2 (this is very unlikely for 99% of all drivers) then you might see a marginal performance difference with the KDs. Personally, I wouldn't dream of putting up with the road noise from KDs for that potential minor performance difference. Plus, here in Florida with our laser-straight roads, you can't find a curve that can challenge the PS2 anyway.

good point... I like em both anyways.... the KD is just a little stickier, and a little cheaper too
