IS300 rims on 98 GS300?

I'm looking to replace my 16" stock rims on my Silver '98 GS300. Will the stock 17" rims from a IS300 fit on my GS300? Someone who lives near me is selling their 17" rims from their IS300.

few cl guys had the same idea too, the IS3 rims looked great. but, the only prob is that it might be too narrow for the GS

If im not mistaken stock 17 GS wheels are 17x8 and stock 17 IS wheels are 17x7.5

Yes, the stock IS rims are too narrow for the big body of the GS so it wouldnt be a good idea...
