Question help me pick out a tire size please!!!

hello cl people i just picked up some rims for my 2nd gen GS and i need some help with tire size

front are 19x8.5 with +32 offset and they have 235/35/19 tires right now

back are 19x9.5 with +26 offset and they have 245/40/19 tires right now

i want to replace the rear tires with like a 35 series or maybe 30 if needed. i am gonna be lowering the car with coilovers next week or so and i plan on having it sit flush with the tires or slightly tucking but im am tryin to avoid rubbing issues. so if you guys could please help me out here? any help will be greatly appreciated.thanks

Since you are not going for the stretched VIP look, typical tires for that size rims are 245/35/19 and 275/30/19.

the fronts should be ok, but the rears are going to rub with a 275/30-19 might be able to get away with lots of negative camber and rolling the fenders though...

Yes, it is much wider. 30mm wider to be more exact.
Since you have saggard width rims (8.5" F and 9.5" rear), you want to run staggerd width tires as well. Very common on RWD cars.
