Default Who says Nittos beat Falkens?

Someone tried to tell me that Nitto555 are better tires than FK 452 Falkens, but review I read say that Falken are a smoother ride and grip better in rain.

Has anyone had any problems with vibration or problems balancing there wheels with either of these tires?

And I know people are going to jump all over me, but what about NANKANG
Tires? Has anyone had any experience with these?

I think you'd be better off posting in the Tires and wheels subforum. You might find the answer easier there.

something tells me the nitto will perform better on a track or high heat.

I have the falken and although they are probably smoother, they dont have that kind of grip for track.

nitto is better in summer time and track, plus it has a longer tread life.
but i'm switching over to Falken 452 cause its a smoother ride.

I used to have the Nitto555's on my Supra. It was pretty noisy (compared to the BFG KWD's I have now), but the thread lasted about twice as long.

They also gripped fairly good with the 400rwhp my Supra puts down. I can't comment much on the rain.

Nitto's 555 last longer and more pleasing to the eye. Sidewall looks nicer and better rim guard. Falken sidewall "pinched" or split near the tire and rim on 3 tires, Nitto's were fine.

True, but most of us are in the under $200 per tire range. At least I am, can't afford for a MIchelin Pilot to get jacked up on these crazy streets. I had a set of Nitto's on my Accord and they must have lasted 2-3 years at least, not bad for the investment. I owned the Falken ST115, Fk451 and Fk452 and when they get a little old the side wall cracks and rips. That's why I don't like them and bad tread wear.

there are plenty of intermediate tires that work good, almost great... depending on size, many are less than $200 per tire...
