tire options for oem 17" chromies
ok,
am not to knowledgeable about tires, their sizes, fitment and all.
can someone please tell me what my options are for 17" tires for my stock oem shrome wheels.
i currently have 225/45/ 17.
if i get 205/40/17, 215/50/17, 215/40R17, 234/45/17, 275/40 zr17 ,what will they feel like; more comfortable or more bumpy?
and what other sizes can i mount on these rims.
please also tell what the ride would feel like on any suggested tire size.

From my experience - 235/45/17 the size that Lexus reccomends for 2gs are too sporty and provided a little rough ride. So i put on 225/50(3gs Lexus size for 17s) and they felt much better, reminded me of my old stock 16s. I think the other sizes that you've mentioned have even less of sidewall than 235/45 so....up to you.
