To paint or to powercoat

I have a set of Volk RE30s in bronze, but I want to make them exactly like the TE37/LE37 Time Attacks (except with a blue rim instead of red). So my question is, is it better to get wheels powercoated or is getting them painted fine? I know powdercoating is stronger, but would paint chip that easily? A shop says that they can paint my wheels to look almost exactly like the time attacks, but I'm just afraid that they won't last aslong as powdercoating and start chipping. I heard Mag Masters in Santa Ana does good powdercoating, but I wonder if they can make it look the same as the time attacks? They also said that they're going to have to charge double becuase it'll be 2 colors. Any suggestions would help. Thanks

Depends on how long you want to keep your wheels and how much over all it will cost. After all it costs, will you even keep the rims long enough for you to have enjoyed the money spend? Also, if you want to sell the rims later is there a market for the combo that your planning?
