Cool 245/45/17 on stock 17' wheel?

Hey everyone. I have a 2001 Lexus Gs300. it came stock with the 16' wheel but i upgraded to the oem 17' rim. factory spec tires on the 17's are 235/45/17. I was wondering if its ok to put 245/45/17 on these? Would it be bad for the car or does it rub? I would appreciate a reply on this. Thanks
!

Many on the forum have gone to 245/45/17 with no problems. Do a quick search and you should find several relevant threads. Good luck.
