Treadlife of Michelin Primacy
Does anybody know what the treadlife of the Michelin Primacy tires should be around? I do all the maintaince myself, so I'm wondering if it is worth paying for the road hazard warranty at America's Tire Co. They do the rotations for free but if you get the road hazard warranty, they give you life time balancing besides the road hazard, which is a good deal if you want rebalancing. If these tires don't last long, no point in getting the road hazard. I leased the car and wondering if I can make it to 45K on these or not with rotations and balancing every 5K.
Thanks

Treadlife for that tire wasn't stated but tires of this type are usually good up to around 20k depending on your driving habits. 45k is definitely a far stretch for a high performance tire like the Primacy or any low profile high performance Z rated tire.

depends on driving...
I have seen the Primacy's last 45k no problem... I have also seen them worn out under 20k... I would say the mean (average) is closer to 25k though... but I will note that most people don't take care of their tires, and lack of rotation typically plays a huge part in that...
