I charge 29.95 for an inside patch on a 19" tire. If someone thinks that's too much, no skin off my back. I send them down to the gas station where they can roll the dice.
The cost of a european style tire machine, a technician who is knowledgable and skillful enough to do it without scratching the wheel, and the liability combined.... it might seem free to you, but not on my end.
