I know manaray. I understand your position. I'm not sure if you consider Axis wheels a knock off, but I've seen many Lexus' featured in mags with Axis wheels so they couldn't be that bad. In any case, I would have loved a set of AVS model 5s. For the price of them though, I can get a set of Axis, coil-overs and a Supra TT brake conversion. Seems like a better way to spend my money, especially on a $15,000 car. Now if I had a GS400 that would be a different story.

Thanks minh for the reply. I thought your car looked pretty low for stock springs . Hopefully I'll have less wheel gap than that with the oversized 20's.

Minh - Yes, Axis does make a lot of knock-offs (though they have a few original or at the very least, "inspired" designs)...The wheels you have are exactly copies of the real Model 5's which sell for $2500 or so (but the real Model 5s are forged...the Axis wheel is hot cast...)...that would get you a set of coilovers (well, depending on the brand) and a Supra TT brake kit only...they're not THAT expensive! But in the end, it's your money and your car... The "style" is definitely nice though. The AVS Model 5's is one of my favorite wheels...looks great on a NSX too!
