Default Best tire for ride quality and comfort

I have been searching and searching and I think I narrowed my choices down to two tires. I dont care about the handling much, I just the most quite and comfortable ride I can get for my GS.

1> Top choice Bridgestone Turanza Serenity
2> Maybe Continental ContiProContact

Thank you in advance for any help.

Pro-Contact is junk in comparison...

you can't go wrong with the Serenity...

Although I sell Bridgestone / Firestone, the only other tire if you are wanting tops in quiet smooth ride would be one of the Michelins... Personally though, Serenity all the way...

I used to sell Continentals and never had a real good experience with them...

the Michelin I would go with would be the Pilot MXM4's...

i still think the Bridgestone is a better overall pick though...

Just sold my GS400 however I had Michelin MXM4 touring tires and they balanced up perfectly and were very quite and smooth. Tried P Zero Nero's and Yoko's and they didn't match up to the MXM4's.

lowsy tires, these are OEM on many cars, 99% of OEM tires are crap. You can always find less expensive tires that perform better you just have to do the research

The Primacy MXV4 is the latest and greatest Michelin though I agree with mitsuguy the BS serenity is excellent, probably the best for ride quality.

how can you say that?

Bridgestone RE050 is an OE tire, one of the highest performance street tires you will find...

Michelin MXV4+ is an OE tire, and when it was an OE fitment, was one of the best, quietest tires on the road...

granted, there are some crappy OE tires, I would say nowhere near 99%, probably closer to 50%... Also, keep in mind, that an OE tire needs to do a few things that not everyone cares about - it needs to be as quiet as possible, ride as smoothly as possible, yet still perform well enough so that the car will pull decent numbers in the road tests performed by magazines...
