Default Front and Rear Different Tires question!!

Is there any negative effect of having a different brand/tread pattern for front and rears?

Like running Falken 452 235/30/20 up fronts and running Yoko S Drive 275/30/20 at the rears??

All tires are new....Just wondering because Yoko is much cheaper than Falken

Btw speed rating and tread wear are the same...

i was looking into that Yoko and want to try it out!

people are biased when it comes to tires...i hated my FK452's but thats just me....hated how it continuesly followed the grooves on the road(driving from SD to LA and Vegas), and to me it was a little bit loud....

In general you should have all 4 of the same tire model on the vehicle. If it is impossible to do because the tire has been discontinued or something then at the very least get the same speed rating and never mix on the same axel.
