I still have not been able to hear from anyone who has any experience with running YOKOHAMA TIRES on a RX300. I have been running MICHELIN CROSSTERRAIN's on my '99 RX300 and they are a very smooth tire. However, they're not good on wet pavement and will hydroplane with the slighest bit of water on the roadway. Also my RX has a lot of sway with the CT's. I need to purchase a new set of tires and am considering YOKO's. Sure would appreciate any feedback.

i just got a brand new set of Geolanders about 3 months ago.
so far, i am quit happy with them. I previously had goodyears on the car and they didnt last long. so i decided i try the Geolander. my first impression is that they are pretty quite. The cornering seem to be smoother and softer but i dont loose any control on them. Traction is very good in dry as long as wet. have not had any issues in that area at all. and i dont do any off-roading.
I havent gone threw the whole life-cycle of these tires so i wont be able to tell ya how they ride when they wear down.
im pretty sure u wont be disappointed ....
hope this helps

I have a set of Geolanders on our Ford Explorer for about a year and all seems to going great. I wanted to evaluate them before I dump the GY Integrity tires that are on my 02 RX300. All is going great - one thing though - you have the raised lettering on the side which in my opinion doesn't go to well with the appearance of a Lexus. However, I haven't had any problems, the ride is great and they are stable, no hydroplaning. I like Michelins as well but they can get expensive. Have you considered the Michelin Symetry? Does anyone out there have experience with the Symetry? Seems to be a good alternative to a truck tire.
