245 vs 225
I'm the first to admit I know nothing about wheels and or tires. All I know is I am getting a set of wheels. They are 20x8.5, with a 35mm offset (it's the same wheel/tire for all four tires front and back). The guy at the shop said the 245/35/20's most likely will fit fine with no rubbing or problems but he said the 225/35/20 will fit guaranteed (going on a '00 gs300) with no issues but that the 225's offer less protection to the wheels. Is there a big difference with the 245 and 225 for 20's? Anyone with a 2nd gen gs300 have 245/35/20's or 225/35/20's?
