Whats Up Manaray,
I guess Iam interested in the design. What do you mean by the "Dish" look and also I keep on hearing the "Lip". Iam new to all this stuff!!!
I was looking for 18's but I might go with 19's. Not sure how the 19's would be here (NYC).......What do you recommand 18/19 for the city??? Do 19's make the GS look alot better than 18's
Would it be bad to use 18/19's with stock suspension, springs, etc.....for a while until I save more $$$$. Would I have to lower my car with either size???
Also I have no clue about tires. Do tires affect the look of the wheels as wheel. What sizes would you recommand
Any other wheels that look similar to the Model III rim
I like the OZ Operas
Thanks for the Info

I can do OZ opera one piece in 18" or two piece in 18 and 19" for you if interested. (in either chrome or silver)
19s def look better on the GS b/c its such a big thick car. 20" is best, but if you're worried about roads and stuff 19" may be a better choice. Use a 245/35/19 F and 275/30/19 R for 19s. 18s need a 245/40/18 F and 275/35/18 R.
I would also lower the car with some Eibach springs if you don't want it too low. 1.4" all the way around.

Dish is a type of wheel where the center has more "material" than open space...the wheels I listed would all be considered DISH style wheels (as are many Mercedes wheels).
Spoke has defined spokes...many times, a spoked design can look dish and vice versa depending on the thickness of the spokes...
Then there's "mesh" which is the classic BBS style wheel...
Anyways, the OZ Operas are nice wheels and they're not too expensive. I prefer the AutoCouture Supreme's though but they're more expensive (though Peter will give you a good price)... AutoCouture just released some less expensive 2-piece Supremes (the "BR" model) and also look at the AutoCouture Magnifique which has a lower cost 2-piece "BR" version and a more expensive 3-piece version (in 19" and 20")
I would DEFINITELY recommend lowering the car regardless of which size you decided on. 19" or 20" would be my choice but in your case, 18" may make more sense due to your road condition in NYC (which isn't the best from what I've seen...)
These wheels will really set you apart because hardly anyone in the US has them (as they're hard to get and they're not exactly "cheap"... )
As for the tires, yes, some tires have very "rounded" edges (like Pirelli's in some cases) and it doesn't look good (at least to me). Some other tires have really agressive treads and sometimes they "leak" over to the sidewall (like the Toyo T1-S) which some people don't like...other's have nice Square sidewalls (like the Nitto NT-555) which most people like...as for performance, they're all pretty good...some tires wear much faster than others (like Pirelli's vs. Nittos)....but in general, tire choices are pretty personal. Some people swear by brands/models that others wouldn't put on their worse enemy's car...
You can check out www.tirerack.com for a decent selection of tires (though they don't have Toyo's or Nittos)...the Bridgestone S-03's are also great tires...for some inexpensive tires, you can try Kumho's (which are pretty good...especially for the price)...
