Also, the tire size, along with wheel width and offset, is needed to know if they'll rub. My gut feeling is no, but you could put a 305 on a 9.5" rim.

Funny you mention the 305, because I had the thought of putting the following on my SC400:
19x9 255/30zr19 Pirelli P-Zero
19x11 305/25zr19 Pirelli P-Zero
I've done this on Porsche 993 and 996 Turbos, and it works great (the overall tire diameters are the same).
My only concern on the SC is that the sidewalls are extremely short, which on a large car like an SC can give the appearance of having no tires at all! YUCK!
Truth be known, I haven't found/purchased the 'right' car yet (looking for a '95 or '96 Silver on black). As soon as I get one, I'll measure it to determine the "max widths" for it.
